Appraiser II - Remote

Overview

The Appraiser II role is valuation review-focused and responsible for performing collateral reviews of third-party valuation reports, including appraisals, BPOs, evaluations, and additional valuation products as needed.

• Conduct collateral reviews of third-party valuation reports.
• Complete Review forms with accurate research.
• Perform detailed property market value analyses.
• Prepare comprehensive appraisal reports.
• Review escalated AMC valuations.
• Stay updated on appraisal standards and compliance.
• Develop and lead training sessions.
• Support team performance and mentoring.
• Collaborate with Valuations and Sales teams.
• Assist in identifying performance gaps.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s preferred.
• 6–10 years of real estate appraisal experience.
• 3+ years of collateral appraisal review experience.
• Experience in appraising in various regions.
• Knowledge of USPAP and Appraiser Independence Requirements.
• State Certification required.
• Professional designation is a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
