Overview

The Area Property Manager is responsible for maintaining communities to a market-ready standard while ensuring high levels of service, team performance, and operational efficiency.

• Assist the Regional Property Manager with overall operations.
• Ensure smooth community operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Oversee maintenance, capital improvements, and lease administration.

• Complete lease and renewal paperwork to company standards.
• Track advertising and client traffic.
• Supervise on-site team operations and ensure policy compliance.
• Maintain effective staff through hiring and coaching.
• Resolve resident conflicts and maintain a positive living environment.
• Manage community budget and finances.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of Property Management experience.
• 1+ years of Management experience.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• General office and bookkeeping skills.
• Ability to manage a team and improve staff performance.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to travel between properties.
• Willingness to perform additional duties as assigned.
