Reconciliation Specialist (6 Month Contract) - Remote

Overview

The Reconciliation Specialist will be responsible for executing and enhancing balance sheet reconciliation processes as part of a wider financial controls uplift and audit readiness. This hands-on role will involve executing and maintaining reconciliations across key accounts, identifying control gaps, and driving standardisation and automation.

Requirements

• Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Minimum three years’ experience in reconciling balance-sheet accounts.
• Experience in high-volume reconciliations within fintech or technology-led environments.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills including data manipulation and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or other cloud-based ERP systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and proactive mindset.
• Proven ability to collaborate with finance and operational stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable in a dynamic, scale-up environment.
