Radiology Biller - Remote

Overview

This is a remote position for a Radiology Biller, responsible for various billing tasks including insurance verification, claims review, and payment posting.

In Short

• Perform end-to-end billing activities for radiology services.
• Collaborate with the radiology department on billing inquiries.
• Review and correct claims for accuracy before submission.
• Research and resolve denied or rejected claims.
• Follow up on unpaid or underpaid claims.
• Stay current on payer policies and billing regulations.
• Must have Meditech experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in radiology billing.
• Knowledge of radiology-specific coding and billing practices.
• Skilled in MS Office Suite and analytical problem-solving.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a hospital or outpatient radiology billing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of payer guidelines including Medicare and Medicaid.
• Skilled in organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to learn new healthcare platforms.
