The Role

This role is pivotal in ensuring effective and seamless communication within our fast-paced, innovative technology environment. In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging and innovative internal communications plans that foster energy, excitement, and momentum to enhance employee engagement, and create further connection and alignment to our vision, values and behaviours embodied through our Brand.

You will have access to our leadership team and have the resource necessary to energise and excite our Cubicans around our strategy, our OKRs, our culture, our performance and Cubic as a place our employees willingly recommend.

In Short

• Working with Leadership, develop and execute internal communications plans that align to our vision, OKRs, values, leader behaviours and our brand.
• Create and communicate inspiring and company aligned key messages that are consistent and powerfully received.
• Weave these messages into important Company events and internal communications.
• Create clear and compelling messages for a variety of internal platforms.
• Partner with different departments to ensure consistent and accurate messaging.
• Create and manage the internal communications strategy and roadmap.
• Develop and manage strategies to enhance Cubic’s employer brand.
• Monitor the effectiveness of internal communications strategies and tools.
• Assist in and project manage the planning and execution of company-wide events.
• Stay abreast of internal communication trends and best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of six (6) years of experience in an internal communications or Employee Experience role.
• Great creativity, energy and enthusiasm.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience bringing a project from a concept to completion.
• Strong understanding of excellent communication practices and techniques.
