Installer Technician - Remote

Overview

Crown is looking for Technicians who will be responsible for hands-on support of the equipment and components comprising the APC system. This includes hardware installation, software loads, integration, system staging, and system maintenance.

In Short

• Performing system installation including cabling and connections to local area and wide area networks.
• Supporting familiarization training FAA system support personnel.
• Performing preventive maintenance.
• Responding to trouble calls.
• Resetting passwords, implementing patches, and updating system configuration parameters as required.
• Coordinating all maintenance actions with operations control center personnel.
• Performing local and remote testing on equipment including running system diagnostics to identify faults.
• Performing system restoration including the replacement of LRUs to remedy failures.
• Returning failed LRUs for repair.
• Tracking spare parts stock levels.
• Supporting the development of Technical Manuals.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• This job is 100% travel.
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust.
• Must have good credit for travel expenses that will be reimbursed every two weeks.
