Overview

As a Snowflake Platform Engineer at CrowdStrike, you will be a key member of the Data Platform Operations team, providing critical ETL operational support while specializing in Snowflake platform management.

In Short

• Serve as the Snowflake subject matter expert within the Data Platform Operations team.
• Monitor, triage, and resolve production ETL/ELT pipeline incidents.
• Manage Snowflake access controls and data governance policies.
• Optimize Snowflake platform performance and costs.
• Collaborate with data engineers and operations team members.
• Implement and maintain operational standards and monitoring solutions.
• Design and enforce Snowflake best practices.
• Support the operations team in evaluating data integration tools.
• Implement data governance frameworks.
• Partner with DevOps and security teams for seamless operations.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data platform operations and ETL support.
• 5+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Strong operational experience supporting production ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and scripting for automation.
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong understanding of data modeling and modern data architecture.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related IT discipline.
• Must be a U.S. Person and authorized to work in the USA.
