Penetration Test Engineer II - Remote

Overview

In Short

• Perform comprehensive penetration testing assessments across the organization.
• Manage the lifecycle of penetration testing findings from discovery to validation.
• Work with various business units to assess systems before go live rollouts.
• Examine systems and applications to assess the current security posture.
• Advocate for security best practices across the organization.
• Must have expertise in manual and automated web application penetration testing.
• Knowledge of networking, cryptography, web applications, databases, and wireless technologies required.
• Ability to automate and script tasks using programming languages.
• Good communication skills are essential.
• Proactive attitude to solve challenging problems.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of server and client operating systems.
• Extensive understanding of TCP, UDP, HTTP, IP and other network protocols.
• Experience with Mac, Windows, Linux and/or Unix-like variants.
• Ability to prioritize impactful findings and drive them to remediation.
• Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 list.
• Experience with cloud technologies and infrastructure as code tools.
• Ability to create elegant looking slide decks.
• Technical security certifications are a plus.
• Documented CTF write-ups or victories.
• Ability to work independently and maintain healthy working relationships.
