Overview

As a global leader in cybersecurity, CrowdStrike is seeking a highly motivated in-house Patent Attorney or Patent Agent to manage and grow a rapidly expanding patent portfolio while leading AI-driven legal workflows.

In Short

• Manage and support the patent portfolio.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops for invention mining.
• Oversee patent prosecution and ensure alignment with company strategy.
• Assist in managing foreign filing strategies.
• Utilize and help develop AI tools for drafting patent applications.
• Identify opportunities for AI and automation to improve productivity.
• Collaborate with engineers to capture patentable ideas.
• Build relationships with inventors and evangelize the IP program.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and tech-forward processes.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• JD degree and admission to at least one State Bar for Patent Attorney candidates.
• USPTO Registration in good standing for Patent Agent candidates.
• 3+ years of experience in patent prosecution and drafting.
• Strong interest and ideally experience with AI tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize projects and meet deadlines.
• Technical savvy and drive for scalable processes.
• Experience in IP law and legal operations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
