Patent Attorney - Remote

Overview

KLS has an opening for a registered U.S. Patent Attorney to join our growing practice.

In Short

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications
• Provide legal advice on valuable intellectual property rights such as patents, technical data, trade secrets, licenses, copyrights and trademarks
• Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for the intellectual property of clients
• Additional responsibilities may include client interface opportunities, docket management, and work product and quality control review
• Other duties as assigned by firm partners

Requirements

• B.S. or higher degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or physics, required
• Registered with the USPTO, required
• A minimum of three years of patent preparation and prosecution experience required
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cloud Computing is highly desirable
• Additional experience with Analog Circuitry or Silicon Chips is beneficial
