The Head of Finance and Accounting at Crover will oversee financial records, reporting, and planning, contributing to the company’s financial growth in a cutting-edge technology environment.

In Short

• Manage financial records including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations in NYS and federal laws.
• Reconcile bank statements and collaborate with external accountants.
• Handle grant-funded project expense documentation.
• Conduct financial forecasting and planning.
• Work on costings for client and project proposals.
• Implement internal accounting policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering for finance-related automation.
• Participate in team meetings once a month in the office.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NYS tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in Quickbooks Online and Xero.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and with a remote team.
• Experience in a technology or manufacturing environment is a bonus.
• Eagerness to learn new skills and take on diverse tasks.
