The Pop Academy Baden-Württemberg has been recognized for years as a competence center in popular music, global music, music business, and creative industries. Our unique organizational form combines a GmbH and a non-legal foundation. As a modern state university institution, we offer three bachelor's degrees and two master's degrees in the fields of 'Music and Creative Industries' (with a business focus) and 'Popular Music' (with an artistic focus).

• Responsible leadership, development, and management of the finance department
• Preparation and monitoring of the annual financial statements
• Creation and management of economic plans and quarterly reports
• Planning and organization of cost and performance accounting
• Monitoring budget planning and conducting ad-hoc analyses
• Creation of templates and statistics for meetings
• Liquidity planning and cash management
• Involvement in project and working groups
• Quality management in the finance department
• Support and improvement of controlling

Requirements

• Completed studies in finance, business administration, controlling, or a comparable qualification
• Leadership experience in financial accounting
• Solid knowledge in accounting, controlling, tax law, and non-profit status
• Proficient with common financial software (DATEV) and MS Office (especially Excel)
• Goal-oriented, precise, careful, and independent working style
• Responsibility and initiative, high flexibility, commitment, and team spirit
• Knowledge in commercial and public administration is an advantage
