Senior Engineering Manager - Remote

In Short

• Lead up to two globally distributed teams with members in the US, Poland, and possibly LATAM.
• Work closely with your Product Manager counterpart, defining and aligning on priority and execution.
• Recruit and retain top talent, leading with empathy and accountability.
• Build a culture of continuous improvement in the team's code, architecture, and processes.
• Help lead and contribute to engineering-wide initiatives with your engineering leadership colleagues.
• Build beautiful, well-tested pipelines and data structures.

Requirements

• Proven successful track record of leading and empowering software development teams for SaaS products.
• Experience and a desire to build data lakes and assembled data structures, including data pipelines.
• 5+ years in the software industry, including at least three years leading engineering teams.
• Good understanding of partnering with the business to deliver real value.
• Practice radical responsibility and accountability, with a positive attitude.
• Show curiosity through asking questions and trying to grow.
• Strong team player, great listener, able to facilitate discussion.
