Overview

The Pediatric Clinical Neurophysiology Research Coordinator will work within Pediatric Neurology on clinical research projects related to patient outcomes following critical neurologic illnesses and injury, collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team.

In Short

  • Implement and manage all phases of clinical research studies.
  • Ensure compliance with protocol guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Recruit and enroll study participants.
  • Develop informed consent packets and explain study purposes to participants.
  • Analyze and report adverse events during the study.
  • Prepare presentations and reports on progress trends.
  • Provide hands-on training and mentorship to support career development.
  • Participate in multiple projects or focus on specific areas based on interest.
  • Contribute to research on pediatric neurocritical care and epilepsy.
  • Work in a patient care setting with physical and office equipment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Basic Life Support certification required within one month of hire.
  • No specific prior work experience required.
  • Skills in clinical research, communication, and organizing.
  • Ability to analyze clinical data and ensure timely protocol completion.
  • Interpersonal communication skills to interact with participants and families.
  • Computer skills for data management and reporting.
