Senior Backend Engineer (Web3) - Remote

Overview

CoW DAO is on a mission to protect Ethereum users from MEV and optimize trade execution across DeFi. We achieve this through the CoW Protocol, CoW Swap, and the innovative MEV Blocker, which help secure, aggregate, and route trades for optimal outcomes.

In Short

• Fully remote team with a preference for candidates in Europe or +/- 4 hours CEST.
• Full-time contractor position.
• Ownership of existing backend services and influence on future features.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with systems-level programming languages.
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with Rust.
• Practical experience in web3, ideally in DeFi.
• Strong programming and algorithmic skills.
• Experience with complex software systems.
• Focus on code quality, readability, and testability.
• Proactive in improving performance and refactoring code.
• Strong communicator and team player.
• Excited to explore Ethereum.
