In Short

• Working closely with product and platform teams to ensure that our systems are scalable, reliable and performant.
• Designing and implementing automation tools and processes to improve the efficiency of our development and operations teams.
• Implementing SRE practices and maintaining monitoring and alerting systems to ensure the health and availability of our systems.
• Identifying and troubleshooting performance issues in our production environments.
• Participating in on-call rotations and responding to incidents as needed, although currently not during off-hours.
• Bridging technical communication between end-users, technical leads, and Corti engineers.
• Contributing to a strong culture of development at Corti through the mentorship of more junior engineers.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a Site Reliability Engineering or DevOps role.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Strong experience with containerization- and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience working as an SRE with embedded engagements.
• Experience with managing and operating distributed systems such as CockroachDB, Elastic search & Apache Kafka.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar languages.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with working remotely.
• Deep experience with software and product development processes - *you have seen where problems can arise, know how to deal with them, and how they can be proactively avoided*
• A tendency to thrive in crisis management and get a sort of adrenaline rush when troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
