Denials Follow-Up Representative - Remote

Overview

The Denials Follow-Up Representative will support healthcare providers by managing denial resolutions through a combination of services, consulting, and technology.

In Short

• Remote position within the US.
• Work schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM EST or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST.
• Differentiate between clinical and technical denials.
• Review UB04 and/or HCFA 1500 forms.
• Negotiate with payers for resolution on technical denials.
• Appeal denials using various means including appeal letters and medical records.
• Manage assigned accounts with timely follow-up and accurate record keeping.
• Requires strong analytical and multi-tasking skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office is necessary.

Requirements

• Four-year degree preferred or equivalent experience in hospital billing/follow-up.
• Experience with managed care contracts.
• Strong analytical acumen.
• Ability to handle customer support and client issue resolution.
