Data Analyst, Zero Balance - Remote

Overview

The Data Analyst will help increase a hospital’s bottom line by analyzing large volumes of hospital claim data for payment accuracy and assisting with data ingestion.

In Short

• Analyze and develop meaningful data using MySQL, Alteryx, Excel, Access, and VBA/Python.
• Extract, clean, and validate data from clients.
• Develop and configure tools for revenue cycle data analysis.
• Support and maintain internal applications and tools.
• Communicate issues and present solutions to challenges.
• Validate and analyze data for reporting purposes.
• Contribute to a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Experience with MS Office 365 Suite required.
• Must have a BA degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with data visualizations using Qlik and/or Tableau.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and macros.
• Familiarity with programming languages, preferably MySQL/Python.
• Experience with Alteryx or similar tools.
• Aptitude for researching and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to translate technical language for non-technical audiences.
