In Short

• Lead the strategy and implementation for storage engineering.
• Design and implement advanced storage solutions.
• Architect and lead the integration of technologies such as RDMA and Infiniband.
• Champion initiatives to improve reliability and durability of storage products.
• Help shape customer experience with performance metrics and dashboards.
• Analyze telemetry for production systems.
• Develop operational review practices for storage engineering.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams on best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in storage engineering.
• Proven experience leading storage product engineering projects.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. Go, C, Rust).
• Deep experience with storage protocols (e.g. nfs, s3).
• Experience with object storage or distributed filesystems.
• Understanding of distributed observability systems.
• Development experience with storage systems (e.g. Ceph, DAOS).
• Strong understanding of cloud computing infrastructure.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
