In Short

• Perform scenario analysis with a focus on impact to capacity utilization to advise on infrastructure projects under guidance
• Build complex capacity models for deployment and capex planning
• Identify capacity-related concerns and work with data science and engineering
• Analyze historical capacity resource usage metrics
• Build & run “what-if” capacity usage scenarios
• Apply data analysis to inform strategic business decisions
• Collaborate with Demand Planning and Product teams
• Analyze hardware architecture and product changes impact
• Understand and interpret capacity metrics
• Orchestrate capacity projects as part of larger initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum 7-9 years of prior experience in a planning role
• Comfortable with basic computing concepts
• Ability to work and communicate with cross-functional teams
• Experience in managing large data structures (Excel, SQL, Looker/Tableau)
• Ability to make recommendations in an ambiguous environment
• Interest in creating and streamlining processes
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of server, storage, and networking hardware
