Emergency Response Program Manager - Remote

Overview

CORE (Community Organized Relief Effort) is a crisis response organization that brings immediate aid and recovery to underserved communities across the globe. We are seeking skilled and committed Program Managers to join our emergency response roster for limited-term deployments, leading specific projects within emergency operations.

In Short

• Lead and manage specific response projects such as shelter repair and distribution operations.
• Conduct and interpret community assessments to shape project planning.
• Deploy to humanitarian/disaster responses as part of the Emergency Response Team.
• Ensure quality control, safety, and accountability within assigned project areas.
• Act as a liaison between field operations and various departments.
• Supervise and guide project teams, including staff and volunteers.
• Ensure accurate project tracking and documentation.
• Travel to U.S.-based emergencies and potentially international sites.
• Must be prepared for rapid deployment for durations of 2 to 10 weeks.
• Commitment to CORE’s mission and understanding of challenges faced by crisis-impacted populations.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in emergency response or humanitarian aid.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage projects in high-pressure situations.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in emergency response or related fields.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving history.
• Spanish or other secondary language proficiency preferred.
• Flexibility to deploy to various locations in response to disasters.
• Prior experience leading teams or managing response projects in humanitarian contexts.
• Familiarity with construction, shelter, WASH, distribution is a plus.
