Senior Fullstack Developer - GIS / Java Spring Boot - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded Senior Fullstack Developer - GIS / Java Spring Boot for our client in Bern. This role involves the further development and integration of BIM solutions in the railway infrastructure sector, requiring a candidate with solid GIS experience to bridge modern IT technologies and engineering requirements.

In Short

• Further development of APIs, databases, and backend (Java Spring Boot, Kafka, Oracle PL/SQL, PostgreSQL)
• Migration of specialized data from existing inventory systems to the new master system
• Building and maintaining build pipelines (Tekton/ArgoCD, OpenShift)
• Designing and implementing testing strategies
• Collaboration in architecture and software design

Requirements

• Several years of experience in application development with GIS
• Very good knowledge of Java Spring Boot and REST APIs
• Completed technical/engineering education
• Experience with agile methods (Scrum, SAFe)
• Very good German language skills, French skills are an advantage
