Netscaler/Firewall Network Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and open-minded Netscaler/Firewall Network Engineer for our client in Thun.

In Short

• Responsible for the operation of customer environments (DataCenter and OnPrem)
• Monitoring, analyzing, and resolving disruptions and security incidents
• Participating in customer projects and migrations, and customer care
• Identifying and analyzing customer requirements
• Monitoring customer systems and performing troubleshooting
• Conducting proactive maintenance to ensure IT operations
• Training staff and maintaining comprehensive operational documentation

Requirements

• Completed training or degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics
• Extensive knowledge in Netscaler
• Several years of experience in the firewall area (FortiGate), with DataCenter networks (preferably HPE), and familiarity with Linux or willingness to learn
• Strong analytical skills, initiative, and problem-solving competence
• Structured and goal-oriented work approach, maintaining oversight in hectic situations
• Fluent in German and good knowledge of English
