Firewall Engineer - Remote

Overview

Cyber Network Engineers ensure network-related services are functioning normally, troubleshoot issues, and implement relevant upgrades. Their core responsibility is to ensure that network security services, software, etc. are running effectively.

In Short

• Gain in-depth knowledge of SGI offered Network Security software suites.
• Perform in-depth analysis and diagnosis for network products & applications.
• Assist and train partners on the procedures for implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Network Security products & services.
• Respond to customers experiencing technical issues via the ticketing system or phone in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
• Work closely with team members and vendor support teams to deliver solutions to complex technical issues.
• Diagnose, research, reproduce and log reported defects working with Network Security vendor’s engineering departments.
• Assist in the development of training materials to empower support personnel; acts as team mentor as needed.
• Document technical resolutions to increase the Network Security product & services support knowledge base.
• Stay up to date on the latest Network Security products and services, industry best practices, and customer needs.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of related experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
