Fire Alarm Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Fire Alarm Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance, service, and repair of fire detection systems, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering excellent customer service.

In Short

• Based in Yorkshire, servicing London and South East region.
• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on fire detection systems.
• Install fire alarms and emergency lights across various systems.
• Commission fire alarms, mainly Advanced and Kentec systems.
• Plan and implement routine and demand call visits.
• Provide technical understanding of drawings and wiring systems.
• Conduct fault finding diagnostics.
• Run small to medium installations and guide the installation team.
• Complete documentation and work from drawings.
• Ensure understanding of regulations BS7671-2018, BS5839-1:2017, BS5838-6:2019.
• Deliver first-class customer service.

Requirements

• Experience in fire alarm systems maintenance and installation.
• Technical knowledge of fire detection systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
