MES Application Manager - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded MES Application Manager for our client in St. Gallen, who will contribute to the digital transformation of production with technical know-how and enthusiasm.

In Short

• Modeling and optimizing production processes in the MES system (Cronetwork)
• Further development and maintenance of MES interfaces to ERP (D365), CAQ, and other systems
• Support for international locations (Czech Republic and China) in the MES environment
• Maintenance, configuration, and ongoing operation of the MES in the shop floor area
• Close collaboration with colleagues from production, IT, and engineering
• Processing change requests and implementing technical adjustments
• Configuration of OPC-related systems for data collection
• Training and support for key users as well as 2nd-level support
• Creation and maintenance of reports, analyses, and dashboards with Power BI

Requirements

• Completed training in computer science or comparable technical education
• Solid experience with MES or ERP systems in a production environment
• Ideally knowledge of the OPC standard and industrial communication
• High initiative, networking thinking, and communication skills at all levels
• Strong service and solution orientation
• Fluent in German and good English skills in both spoken and written
