DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded DevOps Engineer for our client in the telecommunications industry.

In Short

• Consult and support colleagues throughout the solution lifecycle from requirements gathering to implementation, testing, and go-live.
• Implement business requirements agilely and efficiently while continuously improving the quality of deliveries.
• Optimize processes through innovative automation and increase development efficiency.
• Focus on security by adhering to security policies.
• Base work on principles of reuse, resilience, and scalability.
• Work in an agile team with software architects to realize the product vision.
• Collaborate in a diverse, international, and geographically distributed team within a SAFe framework.
• Work will be approximately 70% in development and 30% in operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer engineering, applied computer science, electronics, computer science, information technology, or similar.
• At least 3 years of experience with ServiceNow or a similar service management and business processing platform.
• Experience with web services, web technologies, current software patterns, current security standards, and scripting, preferably JavaScript and JSON.
• Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, and DevOps.
• Team-oriented, responsible, flexible, proactive, eager to learn and experiment with new technologies, data, and tools, with a sense for continuous improvement.
• Enthusiastic about working in a distributed agile environment with methods such as Scrum/Kanban/SAFe.
• Fluent in German and very good English skills.
