Azure Network Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and open-minded Azure Network Engineer for our client in Bern and/or Zurich.

In Short

• Design and implement modern network architectures in the Azure Cloud.
• Manage and optimize central Azure network services such as VNet, VPN, WAF, Azure Firewall, and ExpressRoute.
• Ensure network security and availability, considering current standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to integrate cloud-only and hybrid network solutions.
• Document and train on network processes and policies to ensure transparency and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Several years of practical experience in building and operating Azure network infrastructures.
• In-depth project experience in the design, implementation, operation, and securing of Azure networks.
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform.
• Very good understanding of Azure-specific network security concepts and technologies.
• Ideally, certifications such as AZ-700, AZ-500, or AZ-305.
• Fluent German skills.
