Senior QA Engineer - Test Automation - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with Test Automation experience who will contribute to the entire lifecycle of HTML5 casual game development - from inception to live maintenance. As a key player, you'll champion the delivery of top-notch products, becoming an integral part of an agile, multidisciplinary, and creatively charged game development team.

In Short

• Testing games manually (black box testing).
• Identifying and tracking project issues.
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing suites using tools like Playwright.
• Paying attention to user experience, gameplay mechanics, graphics, and audio elements.
• Participating in the planning and execution of QA activities throughout all phases of the sprint lifecycle.
• Reviewing and analyzing game design documents and functional specifications.
• Creating test documentation (traceability matrix, test cases, checklists, test reports).
• Facilitating smooth releases and collaboration with a team.
• Providing feedback and suggestions to improve quality and game experience.

Requirements

• Good written and verbal communications skills in English.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in software testing.
• A methodical, scientific and analytical mindset.
• Hands-on test automation experience.
• Proficiency with at least one modern programming language, preferably JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Familiarity with Playwright/Cypress/WebdriverIO.
• Experience with version control and CI integration (Jenkins/GitHub/GitLab).
• Expert in Test Design techniques.
• Knowledgeable about SDLC and STLC.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
