Senior Lead Network Engineer II - Remote

Overview

CGS is seeking an experienced Senior Lead Network Engineer to join a team focused on the evaluation, enhancement, and maintenance of a large-scale network project that includes both wired and wireless network infrastructure and related hardware & software.

• Full-time position as a Senior Lead Network Engineer II.
• Focus on evaluation and enhancement of large-scale network projects.
• Design and implement network infrastructure for wired and wireless networks.
• Consult on hardware and software necessary for network support.
• Conduct systems testing, vulnerability assessments, and quality assurance.
• Interface with governmental personnel and internal stakeholders.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer on network products.
• Strong focus on documentation and best practices.
• Flexible working hours from 0800 to 1700 PST, Monday-Friday.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• CWNA and BCNE Certifications or equivalent.
• Experience with RF site survey tools.
• Strong knowledge of layer 2 and layer 3 protocols.
• Experience with network security practices.
• Knowledge of LINUX and MS Server 2013.
• At least 3 years of experience with disaster recovery planning.
• Experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Working knowledge of Agile/SCUM methodologies.
• Additional industry certifications are a plus.
