Systems Engineer (Contractual) - Remote

Overview

This is a 1-year full-time contractual role for a Systems Engineer, focusing on providing technical support and managing client cloud environments.

In Short

• 1-year full-time contractual position.
• Salary range of P125,000 to P150,000 monthly.
• Work schedule is Monday to Friday from 06:30 AM to 03:30 PM PHT.
• Manage and monitor service desk tickets.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for clients.
• Proactively monitor client cloud environments.
• Implement and maintain security in client cloud infrastructure.
• Develop documentation for support tasks.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on complex projects.
• Support client satisfaction and expectations.

Requirements

• Formal qualifications in cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in an MSP environment.
• Knowledge of IT security frameworks such as ISO 27001.
• Familiarity with support ticketing systems.
• Experience with Linux and Windows system administration.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and scripting languages.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies including databases.
• Ability to manage client expectations and satisfaction.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog.
• Understanding of firewall and intrusion prevention systems.
