Senior Applications and Design Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Applications and Design Engineer will be responsible for carrying out varying engineering designs in support of the Concepts NREC Agile suite of turbomachinery design software for current and prospective clients.

In Short

• Lead engineering design projects that complement software sales contracts.
• Complete APS design reviews for customer designs.
• Become familiar with meanline and 3D design software programming.
• Conduct benchmark studies demonstrating the value of CAE software tools.
• Maintain a suite of design cases for software validation.
• Collaborate with developers on product usability.
• Support customer training activities and software workshops.
• Assist the Sales team with presentations and demonstrations.
• Write technical articles and documentation for products.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 4-6 years of turbomachinery design and analysis (CFD) experience.
• Familiarity with Concepts NREC Agile software preferred.
• Experience with Ansys and/or Cadence CFD tools is a plus.
• Global travel up to 20% may be required.
