Overview

As a Software Development Manager at Computer Information Concepts, Inc., you will lead a team of developers, manage software projects, and ensure the successful execution of enhancements and maintenance activities to drive business success.

In Short

• Manage a team of 7-10 Developers
• Split time between management and software development
• Build relationships with project managers and analysts
• Ensure work is estimated and evenly split
• Act as technical point of contact for partners
• Provide technical documentation and presentations
• Responsible for application architecture and maintenance
• Identify and escalate potential development issues
• Develop the technical aptitude of the team
• Lead planning and sequencing of work execution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
• 8+ years of software development experience
• Advanced knowledge of software development practices
• Experience with VBA, VB6.0, VB.NET, ASP.NET
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Experience mentoring less experienced staff
• Strong negotiation and logical thinking skills
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
