Overview

The Lead Teacher is responsible for the overall operations of the classroom, ensuring compliance with educational standards and regulations while working closely with parents and the community to implement individualized goals for children's school readiness.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • One year of experience in early childhood settings.
  • Department of Early Education & Care Lead Teacher certification.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic diversity.
  • Ability to lift and move young children and engage in physical activities.
  • Commitment to quality early care and education.
  • CPR and Emergency Pediatric First Aid certification required.
