Overview

As a Backend Engineer at commercetools, you will work with experienced software engineers in an agile environment, focusing on developing innovative eCommerce solutions.

• Design and implement mission-critical APIs in a PaaS eCommerce Scala backend.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer on the JVM.
• Experience with Scala.
• Strong understanding of functional programming.
• Knowledge of parallel and asynchronous programming.
• Experience developing REST APIs and scalable architectures.
• Fluent in English for international collaboration.
• A desire to learn and improve continuously.
