DCIM Engineer - Remote

Overview

The DCIM Engineer will be responsible for integrating and commissioning data center critical infrastructure telemetry within various management systems, providing troubleshooting support and ensuring optimal performance of data center operations.

• Conduct commissioning activities for EPMS/BMS systems in data centers.
• Develop and verify standardized point and alarm lists.
• Implement telemetry checkouts in commissioning plans.
• Review design documents and equipment specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and functional performance tests.
• Diagnose and resolve system performance issues.
• Document commissioning results and generate reports.
• Utilize MQTT, Modbus, SNMP, and BACnet protocols.
• Assist in gathering device information for DCIM integration.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality.

Requirements

• Experience with Ignition or similar monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of DCIM, EPMS, and BMS systems.
• Understanding of communication protocols like MQTT and Modbus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel to data centers.
