Staff Accountant, GL Operations - Remote

Overview

Coinbase is seeking a highly motivated accounting professional to join our Global GL Operations Accounting team, playing a key role in our growth and operational excellence.

In Short

• Support various areas of the company’s operational accounting.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Cross-functional collaboration with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and Source-To-Pay teams.
• Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Prepare documentation for external audits.
• Perform analytical reviews over financial data.
• Collaborate with partners to operationalize new business areas.
• Participate in critical accounting projects.
• Maintain up-to-date process documentation.
• Support ad hoc financial information requests.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in public accounting or fintech/financial services.
• BA/BS in Accounting or related field / CPA preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP; IFRS knowledge a plus.
• Experience with SOX and control documentation.
• Excellent analytical skills (MS Excel).
• Able to work in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong work ethic and team player.
• Experience with Netsuite, FloQast, and G-Suite.

• Target annual salary range of $108,630 - $127,800.
