Overview

Coinbase is seeking a highly motivated accounting professional to join our Accounting team as an Accounting Manager of Platform Operations, responsible for reconciling and analyzing platform data in the company’s financial systems.

In Short

• Perform or review monthly close activities related to inventory cost accounting.
• Assist with the launch of new digital assets and products.
• Ensure appropriate internal controls over platform accounting are in place.
• Develop and implement scalable accounting processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of accounting experience with a minimum of 2 years in a manager role.
• Experience in the financial services industry, especially fintech.
• B.A. or B.S degree in Accounting or Finance and CPA required.
• Exceptional leadership abilities.
• Experience in a high-growth environment.
• Technical data skills (e.g., SQL) and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Desire to exceed expectations.
• Organizational skills to manage high volume workloads.
• Ability to recommend and implement process improvements.
