In Short

  • Deploy, manage, and optimize GKE clusters to run containerized applications.
  • Ensure scalability, availability, and security of microservices in Kubernetes.
  • Implement service mesh solutions (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) and traffic management strategies.
  • Design and maintain cloud resources using Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Automate provisioning, scaling, and configuration management.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines.
  • Maintain observability tools.
  • Proactively monitor system health, detect anomalies, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Establish incident response workflows and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Manage and optimize cloud databases (Cloud SQL, Firestore, Spanner, BigQuery).

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Cloud Operations, DevOps, or SRE roles.
  • Strong expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, especially GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, and IAM.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and service meshes.
  • Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Solid experience with CI/CD tools.
  • Strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or Go.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools.
  • Understanding of networking, security best practices, and database management in a cloud environment.
