Mortgage Underwriting Manager - Remote

Overview

CMG Home Loans is seeking an Underwriting Manager to support part of our Texas Region. Will oversee daily operations and personnel in their underwriting department, ensuring high standards of service and compliance with regulations. The role involves managing loan underwriting processes, staff development, and maintaining operational efficiency. Must have strong knowledge of Texas loans as well as Bond loans.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of Texas loans and Bond loans.
• Minimum of ten years of specific underwriting experience.
• Five years of underwriting management experience required.
• FHA/VA underwriting certifications required.
• Knowledge of DU and LP input.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven leadership skills.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality required.
