Senior Software Engineer (Infrastructure) - Remote

Overview

As part of the Infrastructure Team, you will be part of a team that drives the implementation of core cloud infrastructure components and infrastructure/platform for cloud-native applications, creates tools and services that power our Engineering teams, and collaborates with them, influencing the design and delivery of our footprint.

In Short

• Dive deep into existing cloud setup (AWS) and IaC (Terraform).
• Improve or refactor CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar).
• Implement guardrails for infrastructure changes.
• Work closely with developers to troubleshoot platform issues.
• Lead redesign or scaling of key infrastructure components.
• Roll out infrastructure blueprints with built-in security.
• Own and evolve observability stack across teams.
• Drive cost-efficiency efforts by identifying cloud spend bottlenecks.
• Co-own the internal platform roadmap.
• Act as a subject matter expert in SRE and cloud security.

Requirements

• Experience working with AWS.
• Understanding of cloud networking concepts.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies like Docker.
• Understanding of cloud security concepts.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
• Ability to code in at least one language/script language.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL is a nice to have.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions.
