Overview

This position is for a US Accountant/Bookkeeper primarily serving clients in Latin America and South Africa, focusing on managing financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations.

In Short

• Managing Financial Records including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
• Preparing Financial Statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Processing Payroll accurately and on time.
• Tax Preparation & Compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Bank Reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Budgeting & Forecasting to assist in financial planning.

Requirements

• 4+ years of US-based accounting/bookkeeping experience.
• QuickBooks Online experience required.
• Open to experienced CPAs and Non-CPAs.
• Willingness to collaborate with US team members across different time zones.
• Xero and Bill.com experience preferred.
