Senior QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a Senior QA Engineer at Close, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to improve the quality of our product, focusing on user-facing behavior and automated testing.

In Short

• Work with cross-functional teams including CRM, Admin & Onboarding, and Data Insights.
• Report to the Director of Engineering (Frontend).
• Improve the quality of shipped products by reducing bugs and regressions.
• Test features during development and monitor recently shipped code.
• Focus on testing user-facing behavior across web, desktop, and mobile.
• Test against APIs and customer integrations.
• Enhance automated testing strategies.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience for Senior positions; 8+ years for Staff; ~3 years for Mid-level.
• Detail-oriented with strong test planning and bug reporting skills.
• Solid understanding of web technologies and user behavior.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, fully distributed team environment.
