Finance Operations Lead - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Finance Operations Lead to take full, end-to-end ownership of mapping and analyzing all finance-related operational workflows. This role reports directly to the Chief of Staff and is an individual contributor role with no direct reports. This is designed for someone who can independently dissect complex systems, surface details at a highly granular level, and produce precise operational insights that directly strengthen financial accuracy and transparency.

In Short

• Own the full end-to-end mapping of every finance-related process across the company.
• Analyze how each workflow impacts financial reporting and accuracy.
• Identify inefficiencies and provide structured recommendations.
• Partner closely with Finance, Operations, Engineering, and other teams.
• Build detailed documentation and operational frameworks.
• Support Finance leadership with investigations and redesign efforts.
• Work independently on complex operational problems.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years of experience in finance or analytical roles.
• Strong foundation in financial analysis including forecasting and budgeting.
• Ability to map end-to-end financial processes.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and validation.
• Experience with Finance teams and financial systems.
• Ability to structure complex problems and synthesize data.
• Comfort in fast-paced and complex business environments.
