Senior Systems Engineer - Observability/Windows - Remote

We are seeking experienced Senior Systems Engineer that can help us reach our goals of knowing more about a property than anybody else and in the process making home ownership valuations more fair and equitable for millions of people.

In Short

• Own/Innovate/Grow our monitoring and observability solutions across our hybrid cloud.
• Grow and maintain our infrastructure, from bare metal to hypervisors, VMs to containers within our state of the art datacenters.
• Troubleshoot complex problems to root cause across technology stacks and teams.
• Modernize administrative practices.
• Partner with our development teams and build new solutions from proof of concept to production.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a Senior Systems Engineer role in a diverse enterprise environment.
• Very strong operational monitoring experience with hybrid cloud, building alerting and dashboards for organization wide visibility.
• Strong understanding of SLA’s and solutions to measure, monitor, and report on the health, performance, and reliability of our systems and applications.
• Industry certification for core discipline: MCSE, RHCE, Linux+, NCDA, VCP, etc.
• Strong applied knowledge in:
• Monitoring (we use Nagios): Design, maintenance, and operation.
• Log aggregation, analysis, management of logging system
• Windows Server and Active Directory
• Enterprise virtualization environments (VMware, HyperV)
• Enterprise NAS/SAN Storage: iSCSI, NFS, CIFS (NetApp)
• CI/CD practices, SDLC toolsets; specifically Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, VSCode.
• Python, Powershell, and other scripting.

Benefits

• Compensation: The base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $155,000 annually, depending on your location, experience, and qualifications. Additional compensation offerings include company profit-sharing bonus program, communication stipends, and referral bonuses.
