Senior DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

The DevOps team is responsible for building and maintaining Clear Capital's AWS cloud infrastructure, which includes multi-tenant SaaS applications serving some of the largest financial institutions, data and analytics products, machine learning, and more. A Dev/Ops Engineer stands at the intersection of software development and system operations.

In Short

• Participate in the day-to-day administration of AWS systems.
• Design and manage monitoring systems for operating infrastructure.
• Support security audits of compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
• Design, configure and support software build/deploy pipelines.
• Participate in team sprint planning and stand-ups.
• Manage software deployment through various staged operating environments.
• Manage security and compliance infrastructure.
• Deep technical expertise in the management and automation of multiple areas.
• Assist with the prioritization of tasks and understanding the team’s current goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 7 years SWE experience; software development experience a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in a combination of software development and technical operations support.
• Scripting experience with a scripting language like Shell, Python, etc.
• Expertise using AWS foundational services.
• Proficiency with additional AWS services.
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience using configuration management tooling.
• Experience with Security infrastructure management.
• Monitoring systems experience.
