Payroll Specialist (Hybrid Remote Schedule)

Overview

We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Payroll Specialist I to support our teams in the field. The Pest Control industry is more of a maintenance program to ensure that our customers don’t suffer from reoccurring pest activity.

In Short

• Collect and summarize time-keeping information
• Audit time-keeping records and resolve variances
• Obtain supervisor approval of time card discrepancies
• Process employee advances and paybacks
• Update employee payroll records as needed
• Print and issue paychecks
• Process pay card payments
• Incorporate deductions into payroll
• Answer employee payroll-related questions
• Perform other work-related duties as required

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years of payroll experience
• Clear and effective communication skills in English
• Knowledge of payroll principles and practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and payroll systems
