Overview

The Property Assessor/Estimator role is critical in ensuring accurate assessments, cost-effective repairs, and seamless customer experiences. You will be responsible for on-site assessments, damage evaluations, repair estimations, and client communication. This is a customer-facing role, requiring strong relationship-building skills with homeowners, insurers, and trade partners.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in insurance assessments, construction estimating, or property inspections.
• Strong building & construction knowledge, with a focus on residential & insurance repairs.
• Experience with digital assessment tools & estimating platforms (e.g., Wilbur, Xactimate, or similar).
• Proficiency in Australian building codes, WHS standards, and insurance compliance.
• Customer-facing experience, with strong communication & negotiation skills.
