Overview

Civil Science is looking for a driven and strategic Transportation Design Division Manager to lead and grow our transportation design practice in North Dakota.

In Short

• Lead and manage the Transportation Design Division, including project managers and design staff.
• Oversee multiple transportation design projects, ensuring quality, schedule, and budget performance.
• Serve as a senior client contact for transportation-related work.
• Support and drive business development efforts, including client relationships and pursuits.
• Collaborate with leadership to grow the transportation division and expand market presence.
• Mentor and develop staff, fostering a strong team culture and technical excellence.
• Ensure consistent application of QA/QC processes and high-quality project delivery.
• Balance strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in project oversight.

Requirements

• Strong leadership and division management experience.
• Proven ability to oversee multiple projects and lead project managers.
• Experience in transportation design and infrastructure projects.
• Ability to balance technical work with operational and strategic responsibilities.
• Strong client relationship and business development skills.
