HR Manager, Transportation - Remote

Overview

The HR Manager, Transportation oversees all people operations supporting Nevoya’s driver workforce across all operating states, combining strategic leadership with hands-on execution.

In Short

• Lead all HR processes related to drivers, including onboarding, employee relations, and retention
• Manage and coach onsite HR Coordinators
• Design consistent onboarding and training frameworks
• Manage payroll and benefits setup through Gusto and Rippling
• Maintain accurate HR data and driver records
• Partner with Safety and Compliance team
• Support driver policy rollouts and performance processes
• Serve as escalation point for complex driver relations issues

Requirements

• 5+ years of HR experience, including 3+ years in transportation or logistics
• 3+ years managing HR teams
• Proven success managing HR teams and multi-site employee populations
• Deep understanding of employment law and workforce compliance
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• High degree of discretion when handling sensitive matters
